Based in "2061" novel from Arthur C. Clarke, Michael Dentzer made this ship and I took the design concept from his ship. It isn't just like the original, but it's an aproximation to it.
Cosmos spaceship is based on "nuclear fussion catalized by muons", it is, the nuclear fussion reactor heats the reaction mass to an incredible temperature and it's expeled by nozzle with a big especific impulse (ISP)
This is the first ship of "Tsung spacelines", made in cooperation with other agencies to test the viability of muonic fussion to transport cargo and passengers in shot time travel between planets. The main objective is to serve in the Earth-Moon-Mars route, but it can reach any planet in the solar system if necessary. |

My concept of Cosmos includes four docking ports, and as default, it will travel with two auxiliary Delta Gliders docked, to land on the bases, because Cosmos has not been designed to land anywhere. It will travel between bases orbiting planets/moons or to small outposts (in this case, Delta Gliders will land the goods or passengers) |

022604 preview includes two new module meshes from Kevin, scenario selectable retro thrusters and some bugs corrected when loading/saving scenarios.
The February, 20 version of NewEagle allow to configure four different cargo modules as static payloads into the scenario file. It has all the previous features of NewEagle, as selectable cockpit view or smoke landing/takeoff effect. This time you will no longer need any other adoon to run this one, except it you're going to run Moonbase Alpha scenario; in this case, you need Alphan's addon (available in orbithangar). I must give thanks to Frying tiger for the Eagle and Kevin for the custom modules. |

It's launched by an Ariane-5 to LEO and can be docked with any other module to boost it into lunar transfer orbit. It's also capable to re-ignite to lunar orbit insertion and earth-return. Pinzon Mark01 is a chemical-type expendable and multipurpose stage. |
